Subject: Important public forum on Ontario condos, Tuesday June 1st.
On Tuesday, June 1, 2010, Rosario Marchese MPP will be hosting an important public forum on condo legislation in Ontario.Rosario will talk about his efforts to change Ontario condo legislation, and his recently re-introduced Condo Owners Protection Act, 2010.
There will be two guest speakers:
Anne-Marie Ambert, the founder and author of http://condoinformation.ca, an invaluable resource for any Ontario resident wanting to learn more about Ontario condo law. She will discuss a variety of topics, including common problems condo owners experience, and potential solutions.
Patricia Sinclair, a community condo activist from downtown Toronto. She will discuss her personal efforts to reform Ontario condo law, and condo legislation in general.
There will also be an open floor after the panel has spoken, when members of the public will be welcome to present their thoughts on Ontario's condo legislation, and whatever solutions they might suggest. The audience will be welcome to ask questions of the panel.
